Miles: 1.6 Start and finish the loop at Shaver Rd (parking available)
Trail Description: The Cedar Lake Trail is a loop around beautiful Cedar Lake in Cedar Rapids Iowa.The trail is currently under construction and is being impacted by the Connect CR Cedar Lake Improvements Project and the Cedar River Flood Protection construction projects. When complete the trail will include a 1.6 mile paved loop around the lake and is a part of the Cedar Valley Nature Trail with connections on the north and south. An additional half mile of paved trail along the water will be available for fishing and other access to the lake. A trail head including parking, restrooms and shelters is available at the Shaver Rd. entrance.
Features & Sites: Amenities at the park will include fishing jetties, kayak launch, playground, bird viewing and interpretive signage.
