Advocacy & Fundraising: Building Connections, One Trail at a Time

The Linn County Trails Association (LCTA) has a proud tradition of advocating for and raising the funds needed to create the amazing trail system we all enjoy today. Our work is about more than just paving paths – it’s about building a connected community and providing everyone with easy access to the outdoors.

Why We Fundraise

Many of the trail grants we receive from federal and state governments require a local match, typically 20%. That’s where LCTA steps in – by raising funds so our community can continue to expand and improve our trail network. Your support has been essential in making this possible, and together, we’ve been able to contribute significantly to key trail projects since 1997.

We are fundraising for THREE new projects!

1

We are raising $100,000 for design of the Interurban Trail from East Post Rd to Rosedale Rd

We are raising $75,000 for the local match for Phase 4 Morgan Creek Trail from Covington Road to the Cedar River
