Test Treasures on the Trail

Join Linn County Trails Association for a special event: LCTA Treasures on the Trail- A Scavenger Hunt on your bike utilizing trails and streets throughout the area. Participants may start any time after 1 pm. Treasures on the Trail should take about 60 to 90 minutes to complete on your bicycle.

We also have a ‘mini’ Treasures on the Trail one for those who would like to walk, stroll and bring their ‘littles’ to participate, which will be 30 minutes or less, again start time is any time after 1 pm. You will find objects and information indicated and bring back photos, answers and/or objects to show you completed the event. Tickets will be awarded for completed event answers which can be used for door prize drawings, provided by local businesses.

The event will start and end at Big Grove Brewery where you can relax and celebrate with other riders/walkers. Refreshments available for purchase. Door Prize Drawings at 3:30 pm  

Celebrate your completion of the event with your friends back at Big Grove where space is reserved and food and drink is available for purchase.

As this is a fundraiser, there is no rain date and no refunds. All proceeds will go to LCTA to assist with Making Trails Happen!

Treasures on the Trail will be a fun event on bike or on foot! Bring your mobile phone, take photos and/or answer questions to a Scavenger Hunt along the trails. This fundraiser and awareness event will bring lots of smiles…and maybe a little competition.

Sponsored by Hall Bicycle and Big Grove; you will receive a list of things to find.

For Families, those who want to walk, or those who have ‘littles’ in strollers or small bikes it will take about 30 minutes to find the items. Turn in your Scavenger Hunt Sheet and receive tickets to place in drawings for prizes at 3:30 pm. Preregistration will get you one drink ticket per family. ($34 for a family up to 4, kids under 10)

For individual cyclists, your time frame will be 60-90 minutes to find pictures/answers to places near the trails. Turn in your Scavenger Hunt Sheet and receive tickets to place in drawing for prizes at 3:30 pm. Early Registration of $36 gets you a t-shirt and drink coupon for the cyclist Treasure Hunt.

NOTE: You will need to sign a liability waiver when you check in the day of the event.
